The Brighton University Economics Society is founded to promote the study of economic science within the University of Brighton with its young economists, undergraduate and postgraduate students. As well, it is an academic platform for students and research students to share their articles, opinions and thoughts about economic issues.
From the Society, we organise academic and social events for our members and those who want to become a member. As well, we publish articles and papers from our members to contribute and promote the pluralism of approaches to economic analysis. We are a ratified member of the Brighton University Students’ Union and we are part of the World Economics Association Student Network, along with other UK universities.
